Boston room wanted - Oktoberfest spots in return;)

Hey!

A little summary about me while you have to read through hundreds of potential roommate messages: I’m Livio, 26, currently based in Munich, Germany — just in time for Oktoberfest season! I’m moving to Boston for at least a year for work, starting November 1, 2026. I’m also very flexible on the exact move-in date if that helps. My company is sending me over from Germany for an international assignment. As work is located northwest of Arlington, I need something in the northwest of the Boston area, possibly with T-access and with some sort of parking.

I’ve lived in quite a few shared apartments during my studies in Mechanical Engineering in Milan, Turin, Madrid and Stuttgart, so I know the drill: I’m clean and respectful of shared spaces, but I also really enjoy having a social home where people actually know each other rather than just sharing a kitchen. I’m always up for grabbing a drink, cooking together, going out, or exploring Boston — while also being perfectly happy to disappear into my room and have some privacy when needed.

Outside of work, I’m usually either playing tennis, at the gym, cooking something Italian, or looking for something new to do. I’m definitely hoping to make some good friends in Boston and meet interesting people along the way.

A few additional roommate perks:

* I have semi-professional skills at sharpening hopelessly dull kitchen knives.
* If a light needs installing, a switch needs replacing, or something disappears down the drain, I’m probably the first person to volunteer.
* I take kitchen cleanliness surprisingly seriously.

I’m looking for a private room in a friendly, social apartment with a good connection between all roommates. A parking spot is very important to me, and I’d ideally like to live with other young professionals or students.
