23M seeking social home Oct 1-Dec 15

Hey, I'm Josh! I'm 23 and work in software development. I'm coming to NYC for a few months and looking for a room from October 1 to December 15, with the possibility of staying longer.

I'm into the outdoors, sports, movies, and trying new things. I'm looking forward to exploring NYC, meeting people, and checking out some tech events while I'm there. I'd like roommates around my age who are down to hang out occasionally, grab food, or go do something. I'm happy with a bigger apartment and more roommates. Ideally there'd be at least one other guy under 30, but a mixed household is good too.

Chelsea would be ideal since I have a friend nearby. I'm also interested in Flatiron, Gramercy, East Village, and Midtown below 57th Street, as long as it's easy to get to Chelsea. I'd prefer a furnished room and a shared living room.

I'm hoping to spend around $2,000 a month, but can go up to $2,800 including utilities and fees for the right place. A sublet while someone's out of town or another short-term setup would work well.
