Professional looking for room in NOVA/DC

Hi! I’m looking for a room in an existing apartment, condo, townhouse or house and hoping to move by the end of September at the latest. I’m also completely open to a sublet.

My budget is up to $1,800/month. I’m primarily looking in Northern Virginia, especially Tysons, McLean, Fairfax, Vienna, Arlington or Rosslyn. I’m also interested in Georgetown or the Palisades in DC. I’m somewhat flexible for the right place and roommate situation.

I work full time in cybersecurity and I’m also a writer. Outside of work I’m into video games, cooking, kayaking, rollerblading, movies and TV, and just hanging out.

I’m pretty easygoing, clean and respectful of shared spaces. I’d really like to live with people I actually get along with rather than everyone just renting a room and never talking. I’m always down to hang out, cook together, watch something, grab food or go out, but I also respect privacy and alone time.

I’m looking for an LGBTQIA+ friendly home. A private bathroom is definitely preferred. I’m fine with friends or significant others coming over and would prefer a relaxed household where everyone can have a normal social life while still being respectful of each other.
