USU visiting professor, Jan-Jun 2027

I'm a professor of engineering from Cartagena, in Spain, and I'll be at Utah State University as a visiting scholar for the spring semester: 1 January to 30 June 2027. I'm looking for a furnished room in Logan or nearby for exactly those six months.

Ideally I'd like a room in a family home or a household rather than a student apartment. This is my first long stay in Utah and living with people who know the valley would make a real difference — for my English as much as for everything else. But a quiet share would suit me well too.

About me: non-smoker, no pets, single occupant, tidy, and no parties. I'll be on campus most of the day and away hiking or cycling at weekends.

Two things worth saying upfront. My six months line up with the spring semester, so the room frees up again for the summer and the fall intake. And since I have no US credit history, I'm happy to pay the whole term in advance, and to provide my official invitation letter from USU along with references from my host department and my own university.

I won't have a car, so I'm looking for somewhere within walking distance of campus or on a Connect bus route.
