Enginneer Seeking Housing
Good day, Danny,
My name is Mark and I hope I qualify to be considered as a tenant in your home, as I have over 18 years experience as a software and network engineer, it is what I breath and live for. I may appear a bit rugged, as I am also an automechanic and I do some home repair, aa
s I like to get exercise. I am a pretty simple, calm man with a lot of integrity.
Answers to your questions are as follows:
When would you like to move in or start rent?
My Social Security of approximately $2,800 on the 3rd of every month, hence the 3rd is when I would like to move in (the 2nd for this month). I have $1,000 right now that I hope can secure the room until the 3rd, the rest on my liquid cash is tied down on a security deposit where I currently live.
1. What is your source of income?
I am receiving $2,800 / month in Social Security Disability and some times I do odd jobs and gigs, but Social Security limits me to earning less than $1690 / month to retain my benefits. I am also applying for student grants and loans.
2. How long do you plan to live in Silicon Valley?
I've lived in the Silicon Valley for over 15 years, I am here to stay.
3. Where do you work (or in what industry)?
I have over 18 years experience as a software engineer. At the moment I am on Social Security Disability and am goinlg to leverage its benefits to finish a degree, hence educational grants and loans will be part of my income, and I am allowed to earn $1,690 per month and continue to recieve Social Security.
4. How often do you work from home or office?
Currently I am home about 30% of my time, I am often out taking care of business. I tried to find some online work but it's flooded.
5. Do you have any hobbies or interests you’d like to share?
I am a great chess player, I used to weight lift and needed to get to the gym. Computer programming in my main hobbie and was my career.
In regards to terms and qualifications, I hold a clear background check, my credit is simple, I never really needed credit, I can provide several referrals including my current landlord and I have a very stable and steady income of minimally approximately $2,800 per month of Social Security Disability, and am getting ready to go back to college and formally finish a degree with the goal of getting back to work at which point I will have additional income from education grants and loans, and I am allowed to work up $1,690 per month and still retain my Social Security. I am very tolerant, peaceful, and will agree to most any terms and i don't need special accomodations as I am very adjustable. Let me know if you have any questions or if you would like for me to provide anything that will help get me approved. Currently, financially, I am targeting move in on the 2nd of next month, and I would pay the rent first thing on the 3rd of every month as that's when I get my Social Security. Right now I have a budget of $1,000 that I hope would be agreeable to reserve the room until the 2nd of next month, and I also have a security deposit refund that can help pay my first months rent on the 2nd of next month.
I am planning on going back to college to complete a degree, I am not someone that just stays home all day, I am all about efficiency and am somewhat of a workaholic who is trying to get off disability. I don't party at all, but I have a daily beer or two at night before bed.
All the thanks in the world,
Mark Brito
