Open to areas of Brooklyn and Queens, I have lived in Manhattan for several years now and want to move to another borough. I am an RN working in Midtown Manhattan.
My current lease will end October 31st so I'm looking to move out some time in October. I've been living in Harlem and looking for a change of scenery where I can keep my pets.
I have a pet corn snake who is beautiful and loves people although many are reptile-averse. She lives in a tank, so there's not risk of damage to property, she doesn't smell, and she doesn't make noise, so honestly if you're going to have a roommate with a pet she's a winner!
I am also anticipating adopting a cat in January which landlords tend to have more reservations about. Freddie is a fat young adult, thoroughly litter trained, so I have no concerns, and I love him!
My budget is up to $2100, Island I am open to obtaining a third party guarantor if necessary, although my credit score shows great self control and responsibility. I can also provide rental history if needed.
I've been seeing quite a few apartments in midwood/homecrest/bath beach that look nice for me and my pets. I would really love finding a rent stabilized apartment as I am moving out of one I've been in for the past 3 years. Or at least I'd like to have an idea of what the increase will be annually.
Please reach out if I may be a good fit!
