Working Professional Seeking Room – Clean, Quiet &

Hi! My name is Mitchell. I’m relocating from Idaho to the Seattle area for a new engineering position and am looking for a room to rent while I get established.

I’m 30, married with two kids, but I’ll be living in the room by myself. My wife and kids will remain at our home in Idaho while we prepare the house for sale and work through relocating the rest of the family to Washington.

I’m looking for something starting in September. My exact length of stay is difficult to predict because it will depend on the sale of our house and our family’s relocation timeline. I expect to need the room for at least a month and potentially several months, so month-to-month or a flexible lease would be ideal.

I’ll be working full-time in downtown Seattle. I’m clean, respectful, responsible, and pretty easygoing. I’m conscious of keeping shared spaces clean and respecting other people’s privacy, schedules, and belongings. I previously spent about eight years working in veterinary medicine as a Certified Veterinary Technician before finishing my Mechanical Engineering Technology degree and transitioning into engineering.

Outside of work, I’m into hockey, Dungeons & Dragons, gaming, movies, and getting outdoors. I’m not looking for a party house—mostly just a comfortable, safe place to come home to after work. That said, I’m friendly and would be perfectly happy living somewhere where roommates occasionally hang out rather than everyone being complete strangers.

I’ll have my own vehicle, although easy access to public transportation into downtown Seattle would be a big plus. I’m open to Seattle itself as well as surrounding areas if the commute makes sense.

I won’t be bringing any pets with me.

I’ll be in the Seattle area in September and would be happy to meet in person, tour the room, and make sure it feels like a good fit for everyone.
