I'm 29 and work as a museum gallery attendant. I'm looking for a room in Brooklyn or Queens. My budget is ideally around $1,000/month.

I'm pretty introverted and spend a lot of time in my room reading or playing video games. I also like going to museums and galleries and getting drinks occasionally.

I'm pretty relaxed about personal spaces, but I'm considerate about shared ones. I clean the bathroom regularly and keep the kitchen/fridge organized, and I don't tend to leave much stuff in common areas. I have a couch and a record player/records, so having somewhere to put those would be a plus! Not necessary, though, as the couch can go into storage and the record player is small enough to fit into my room.

I'm a trans man, so I'm ideally looking for LGBTQ+-friendly roommates. I'm also 420-friendly and would prefer to live with people who are comfortable with cannabis, although I don't need anyone else to smoke. I currently live in a non-smoking apartment and smoke outside, and I'm happy to continue doing so. I'm also planning to use edibles more often going forward.

Right now, I'm living with a roommate and his dog, and we are primarily searching for separate apartments. However, we're both open to moving into a dog-friendly place together. Mostly, I am looking for a comfortable and clean place.
