ISO a room or roommates in Chicago! Soon 📿🧿

Hi, I just graduated from IIT (psychological science + architecture minor) and I’m hoping to find a place around $850 a month per person or less hopefully, though I’m open to paying more depending on other factors. My ideal areas are Lakeview, Logan Square, Lincoln park, bridgeport, uptown, Edgewater, or anywhere along the brown/red/blue lines, especially around Diversey, Belmont, or Fullerton. My main dealbreakers are walkability, transit access, and liveliness¿

About me: I’m currently continuing research with a professor I was working with during my time at IIT. I’m planning on going into more research in the future. I clean after myself, and am respectful of shared spaces and boundaries.

-Music I like: NIN, TOOL, Mitski, Alex G, Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, Frost Children etc.
-Shows/movies I like: Madoka Magica, IWTV, Fleabag, Buffy, I Saw The Tv Glow etc.
-Hobbies: Drawing, painting, thrifting, making stuff (+clothes+jewelry), the gym, museums, beach, live shows/concerts, Karoake, and anything new really.
-I’m single, vegan, petless, and don’t smoke, but i’m okay with smoking and pets.
-I love cats but I don’t have any.

-Would like to move in soonish if possible (Sept 1 but ok if not)
-Around $800 a month (Per Person) give or take

-Private bedroom preferred
-Washer/dryer in the building

-Open to roommates of any gender

P. S. I also know a friend who is looking for a room and we might move in together if that works out better.
