Looking for Housing While Spouse Gets Treatment

Hi everyone! My spouse and I are searching for a furnished space starting beginning of October to around January, maybe a bit longer. I am finishing phlebotomy training and my Associates of Health Science degree, My spouse will be getting treatment at a local eating disorder center. We have two kitties, very sweet and mild mannered, both fully litter, leash, and crate trained. Housing will be for both of us for a week or two while spouse gets medical clearance, then just me, and then both of us again after about 2 months. Our budget is: under 1500$ PREFERRED, for a shared space under 1000$, and if needed up to 2000$. While we do have poor credit and a lack of rental history due to spending the last couple years out of the US, we have the money needed to pay our first three months upfront and pay for more months in advance.
Please note that we are both queer, and if in a shared space must be with tolerant roommates.
