USC PhD/TA Seeking Furnished Ensuite Room

Hi! My name is Francesco. I’m a USC PhD student and Teaching Assistant returning to Los Angeles for the fall semester.

I’m looking for a furnished private bedroom from August 31 through December 16, 2026. A private bathroom is strongly preferred, and I need reliable parking because I will have a car. My maximum budget is approximately $1,800 per month including utilities and Wi-Fi.

My preferred areas are on the Westside, particularly Santa Monica, Mar Vista, Del Rey, West LA, Palms, Culver City, Venice, Marina del Rey, Playa Vista, and West Hollywood. I’m also open to West Adams or areas closer to USC for an especially good fit.

I’m looking for:

A furnished private bedroom
Preferably a private bathroom
Reliable Wi-Fi
A desk or enough room for a desk
Air conditioning
Laundry access
A kitchen
Reliable parking, ideally off-street or in a garage
A clean, quiet, non-smoking household

I will be the sole occupant. I’m clean, quiet, respectful, non-smoking, and have no pets. Because I will be teaching and completing academic work, I’m particularly interested in a peaceful home where I can work reliably.

I can provide proof of USC affiliation, income, identification, and references if needed. I’m currently in Italy, so I would initially need a live video tour of the exact room and property.
