Looking for a Like-Minded Roommate — Philadelphia

Hi everyone! I'm planning to relocate back to the Philadelphia/South Jersey area this fall and would love to start connecting with potential roommates. My timing is somewhat flexible for the right person and living situation.

A little about me:

I'm a quiet, respectful, easygoing woman in my 40s transitioning from corporate tech into freelance work and building my own online business. I'm creative by nature and enjoy photography, writing, personal growth, swimming, exploring the city, and creating a home that feels peaceful and comfortable.

I'm looking for more than simply someone to split rent with. I'd love to find someone who also values a clean, calm, drama-free home where we can respect each other's space while still being friendly. I'm not a partier, I don't smoke, and I'm happiest in a home that feels relaxing and comfortable.

I'm hoping to find a roommate who:

Location: In Philadelphia, I'm primarily interested in Center City and nearby neighborhoods, including Rittenhouse Square, Fitler Square, Graduate Hospital, Washington Square West, Logan Square/Fairmount, and similar walkable areas. I'm also open to South Jersey—particularly Collingswood, Haddon Township/Westmont, or Haddonfield—ideally within convenient walking distance of a PATCO station. Since I'm planning to live without a car, walkability and easy access to public transportation are important to me.

Budget: Ideally around $800–$1,000/month, with some flexibility up to approximately $1,200 for an especially good fit, location, and living environment.

I'm hoping for a place that is clean, well-maintained, bright, comfortable, and welcoming. I'm willing to be flexible on some things for an affordable living situation, but having a home that feels pleasant and well cared for is important to me.
