Looking for Private Room near JFK/UMass – Sept 1

Hi, I’m Ali. I moved to Boston in January 2025 for my Master’s in Finance at UMass Boston and graduated this May.
I’m currently working part-time while preparing for the CFA Level I exam. I’m clean, responsible, respectful and easygoing. I’ve lived with roommates before and I’m very considerate about keeping common areas clean, respecting privacy and keeping noise reasonable.
I’m looking for a private room from around September 1, preferably in Dorchester, Savin Hill, JFK/UMass, Quincy or another area with convenient access to the Red Line.
My ideal budget is around $800–$1,000 per month. I’m particularly interested in a short-term, month-to-month or flexible arrangement, although I’m open to a longer stay if the place and roommate situation are a good fit.
I spend most of my time working, studying or at the gym. I’m friendly and happy to socialize with roommates, but I also respect everyone’s personal space.
I do smoke occasionally, but never indoors and would always smoke outside.
