I've helped seniors be able to live out their life as they wish in their own home, for over 20 years. What starts as companionship to ease loneliness eventually sees the scale slide to more caregiving, care managing with the elderly home owner. With the family okay, I shop, get roomie to appts, etc., it has been a win for me and my senior companions. They recieve stability of independence with friendship. Their families recieve relief in knowing their loved one is not alone, has a friend watching out for them and that their loves one who absolutely wants to live in their own house has got a carry companion to talk to, walk with, go on outings and adventures with.
