Hi! I’m Lucie, a 26-year-old French professional moving to New York on November 1st, 2026 for an 18-month work assignment.

I’ll be working full-time for a French tech company, with a guaranteed monthly income of around $5,800 for the full duration of my stay under a French government-backed program. I can provide all the necessary documents if needed.

A bit about me :)

I’m social, curious and easy-going. I love going out for drinks, discovering new restaurants, concerts and music events, exploring new neighborhoods, travelling, and generally making the most of living in a new city. I also really enjoy quieter moments at home and I’m very respectful of everyone’s privacy and personal space.

I also love cooking! Having lived in France, Spain and Colombia, I’ve picked up quite a few different styles of cooking along the way, and I’m always happy to share a meal with roommates from time to time.

I speak French, English and Spanish, and I’d love to live with people from different backgrounds. Y si prefieres hablar español en casa, ningún problema :)

I’ve already lived in shared apartments twice before and had great experiences both times. I’m clean, respectful and used to sharing common spaces, and I’d ideally like to find a place where roommates get along and can occasionally hang out together, without feeling like everyone has to be social all the time.

I’m looking for a furnished room for a long-term stay, ideally until April 2028. My budget is up to $1,900/month including utilities.
