Hi There,

My name is Rebecca and i am looking for a short/long term sublet bedroom within stuytown/pcv area.

A little about me: I am east Asian female, respectful, clean, communicative, and mindful of each other’s privacy. I’m actually a current StuyTown resident and have lived here since January 2025.

I recently ended a 4year relationship where we were living together in 8 Stuyvesant Oval, which is why I’m looking for a new living arrangement(and some what urgent since there were some level of domestic violence, i am currently hopping between short term sublets or long term sublet within stuy/pcv area).

I’ve really grown to love StuyTown, the community, the playgrounds, the neighborhood, and just the feeling of living here. so I’m hoping very much to stay within the community rather than move elsewhere.

I just turned 34 this month. I’m originally from China and have been living in New York for several years since 2022. I graduated from Columbia University with a master’s degree in finance in May 2025. After graduation, I completed a six-month u internship, and I recently started working in small advisory firm on 59st.

As a roommate, I’m clean, respectful, responsible, and pretty easygoing. I enjoy having a comfortable and peaceful home and am very mindful about shared spaces and other people’s boundaries. Outside of work, I love reading, cleaning, cooking, swing dancing, jazz music and concerts, and recently I’ve been taking kickboxing classes at StuyFitness which i am obessed( for self defense and its a good emotional outlet).
I wanted to be upfront about one thing before taking up too much of your time. I have a small miniature Cockapoo named Mochi. He is 1year3month old. This breed is hypoallergenic (low-shedding/allergy-friendly ) since i myself is mildly allergic to dogs.
He is housetrained and very sweet and is an important part of my life. I completely understand if you prefer no pets, but if you might be open to considering a small dog, I would be very happy to tell you more about him and, of course, have you meet him.
