Quiet married couple + pets seeking room

Hi! We’re Bethany (33) and Chris (32), a married couple looking for a comfortable, long-term room/ place to rent. I work in healthcare outside the home on weekdays and Chris works from home full time with an occasional weekend shift. His work is computer based and doesn’t involve phone calls, so he is generally quiet during the workday.

We are looking for a private bedroom with reasonable access to shared common areas such as the kitchen or laundry. We would love somewhere we can settle and feel comfortable at home rather than just having a place to sleep.

We are open to living with another couple or a single roommate of any gender. More than anything we are looking for someone kind, easygoing, communicative, and reasonably clean. We don’t expect a spotless house 24/7, just that others pick up after themselves or take care of spills/ dishes/ messes within a reasonable amount of time. We would love a household where we can comfortably chat, watch something together, or hang out occasionally, while also respecting each others privacy and alone time.

We are pretty laid back and lowkey at home. We enjoy watching tv, gaming, cooking/baking/grilling, spending time with pets, and generally relaxing after work. We are friendly, social, and respectful of noise and shared spaces.

We have a dog and cat who are both fully potty trained, non-destructive, and very chill. Our dog loves everyone he meets, out cat is scared of most things and tends to stay in our room most of the time.

We don’t smoke and would prefer no smoking inside the home, (outside is totally fine!), otherwise we are pretty open minded about how other adults choose to live their lives as long as everyone is respectful of each other and the home.

Ultimately, we are seeking a peaceful, friendly household where everyone can feel comfortable being themselves. We would be happy to chat and meet beforehand to see if we would be a good fit!
