Young Professional - rent a 1br with private bath

Hi!

My name is Trevor and I’m looking to rent a room with a private bathroom in either of the following areas in late August (last couple of weeks) or September (first week) 2026.

Preferred: Alexandria, Arlington, Rossalyn

Will consider; Fairfax County, Tysons Corner, Lincolnia, Fall Churchs, McClean areas of Northern Virginia.

I am seeking a room for rent for a minimum of 3 month stay or a maximum of 6 - 12 months. I prefer a decent-sized bedroom with a private bath.

I am quiet, easy-going, friendly and respectful and clean. I have rented from a landlord before in Reston, VA for 2 years (2022-2024) and my former landlord could give you a recommendation/vouch for me.

My maximum I can pay for rent is $1,500 a month.
Security deposit can be talked about.

A MUST for me is that I need to have any potential landlord provide a written, lease agreement for myself and him/her to read over, agree to and sign before I were to move in.

Biggest thing for me is Respect and common courtesies. I Will treat you with respect with the expectation you will treat me with respect as well.

Looking for a drama-free, easy-going, experience for the duration of my stay in your home and the same for yourself.
