Well Adjusted English Male

Very respectful & mindful of others' property, I'm an ex-pat from the UK & semi-retired ex-navy / airforce contractor with my own home in Bay Park where I love living. I still do the odd contract but I've mostly been cohosting properties for friends & family over last few years & now my own home is being rented (due to an emergency flood situation). This family - whose house is now having to be repaired & remodeled will need my place for several months (1-3) & hence that's why I'm looking for a place myself!
I love making my own meals (& occasionally for others) & live on hot tea & toast for breakfast! Love to garden & fix things (electro-mechanical engineer), I'm tidy, easy going, can hold a conversation, but know when to keep to myself & to give others the space they need. I'm not into drama or drugs other than the occasional beer/cocktail after tennis & will have just a few suitcases, a laptop, a bicycle & my little English car (that I rebuilt). I'll need a bedroom, (hopefully) private bathroom & a little workspace that is quiet & pref. with a window. I'm equally happy to live by the coast, on a boat or mountain where there is a little breeze & something to look at once I finish my work. I can do repairs to almost anything & happy to trade on that a little if that helps anyone, but otherwise my goal is to acquire a few new credentials with some online courses while living away from home with as few distractions as possible. I also enjoy playing tennis 3-4 times a week, frequently cycle there & back, to the farmers market for some groceries. I love meeting up with friends for a walk or hike, to watch the occasional game or for dinner somewhere. I travel back to Europe at least once a year where most of my family is still. I'm quite open minded & could even house sit for you if you have a 2nd home somewhere & could even be abroad!
