Hi! I'm moving from my basement due to flooding problems. It'd be nice to have natural lighting to fight against seasonal depression and be above ground, so I don't have to worry about flooding anymore. My current place is around $875 and the place before that was $900. Ideally, I'd like something around that range, but my max budget is $1,000 per month. I've been here for 1.5 years, so I'm looking for something long-term. My preferred amenities are flexible, we can talk about it!
I've been living in Queens so I wouldn't mind moving to a different area within it. I am open to moving to either Brooklyn or Manhattan if it's in the budget. A big priority is to find a place I am at ease in. I want to be able to at minimum, have a civil, communicative environment with roommates. And though I like talking with roommates, I will need time to recharge every now and then.
Thanks for reading!
