Professional graduate student seeks Manhattan room

Hi! My name is Phebe.

I am a graduate student and I also work part-time, both in Manhattan. I just lost housing unexpectedly, so I am looking to move in August or September.

Seeking:
- Private room or apartment, furnished or unfurnished. Happy to house- or cat-sit!
- 1 month min, no max. Open to short or long term, esp. flex / option to extend.
- Manhattan! I study on the UWS, work in the LES/EV, and have commitments throughout, so proximity matters.
- $3,100/month max budget (but aiming lower, because grad school).

About me:
- 29, female, non-smoking, no pets of my own (but I love animals)
- Friendly, communicative, respectful, and adaptable.
- Problem-solver, pretty handy, creative
- Comfortable living with people of all genders, ages.

Partial or full kitchen access is a must. No walk ups past the 5th floor and dishwasher strongly preferred, due to occasional chronic pain flare-ups.
