Room wanted in Brooklyn, NY

Hi! My roommate-to-be and I are looking for one to two more people to apartment hunt with and find a really nice place together somewhere in Brooklyn.
We're hoping for an August 1st move-in, so we're hoping to move fast — but we still want to find the right people and the right apartment. We each have a budget of up to $1,800/month (but always open to lowering it if yours is lower), so depending on whether we end up as three or four, our total budget would be around $5,400–$7,200. This opens up some really solid 3 and -bedroom options in the neighborhoods we're looking at. We're also both ready with paperwork to apply as soon as we find the right place.
Location-wise, we're looking at Brooklyn: Bed-Stuy, Crown Heights, Bushwick, Williamsburg, Fort Greene, Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Park Slope, and generally anywhere around Prospect Park. Open to nearby areas too if the place is right. A wide net!

A little about us: I'm Edward. I'm a 30-year-old professional working in policy research. I work hybrid, but even on remote days I'm usually out at my office space or working from cafes, so I'm not home much during the day. I'm clean, easygoing, and respectful of shared spaces. Outside of work you'll find me reading, watching movies, dancing, catching live music, or hanging out in the park with friends. My roommate-to-be, Maddie, is 24 and works in sustainable architecture and engineering — also clean, considerate, and easy to live with.
We'd love to find people who are clean, considerate, and want to make a genuinely nice home together — not just split rent with strangers. Happy to be social at home but we also totally respect everyone's space.
