Looking for a furnished bedroom (Move in 1 Aug)

Hi everyone! I am looking for a furnished sublet room (open to rentals if I can move out in April) that I can stay in from 1 Aug 2026 to 5th April 2027 (I can give or take a few days for moving in and move out), as I'm staying in NYC temporarily for an internship under a J1 Intern visa. My budget is ~$1300/month, but of course I'd prefer lower prices. My preferred locations are anywhere in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and I can also consider Queens (but I'd generally prefer for the commute to the Seaport district to be under an hour). I need the bedroom to be furnished already, and to be able to cook in the kitchen and store my meals in a fridge with a freezer. I'd also prefer AC available, and I'd prefer living with other women.

More details about myself:
I'm 21F, Chinese and I'm coming from Singapore. Currently a university student going to NYC for an 8-month long internship under the J1 intern visa. I'm responsible, clean, quiet, and flexible in terms of living arrangements. I'd prefer roommates around my age as I'd love to be able to make friends to go out in the city with because I'm new to the country, but I can also keep to myself and respect your space if you'd prefer that :) I can provide more details to verify my identity like my documents and my Instagram handle if needed! However, since I'm not from America I might not be able to provide some of the usual financial documents like a US credit score, but I have enough savings and my stipend is able to cover the costs as well.
