I am looking to rent a room but....

I need someone willing to work with me on move-in and first month costs. I am a 37 year old woman with a cat, fleeing domestic abuse. I have my own car. I’ve had a long career in management but went back to school recently for computer science. I’m looking for work in the customer service/management realm still until I get my degree. I’m pan and poly. I’m a neurospicy nerd. 420 friendly but I can easily keep that outside if needed. I am just trying to rebuild my life after this horrible relationship and just need a little help getting my feet again.

It’s all a really long story that I’m willing to get into in dms, but I have:
- To be out of my current place by 07/18/26.
- Nowhere to go (DV isolation / not qualifying for the programs around here).
- No income and my ex emptied all of the accounts so I have no savings. (I have been interviewing and even have one on Monday).
- My cat. She is my only reason to hang on right now so I can’t be without her <3

I would need to move in within the next two weeks but pay/work off the deposit/first month starting next month (after I secure employment). I am more than willing to do all of the housework in exchange. I can also cook, I’m just not great at it 😅

Tldr: Fleeing DV. No income. No savings. Yes cat. Yes interviewing. Need somewhere to go by 07/18 where I can work/pay off costs of first month.
