I am a a college professor/researcher in my early 50’s and I currently divide my time between the Midwest and short-term rentals in the NY/NJ area. I am looking for a more permanent home base in the city for the next year or so, while I work remotely, so that I can spend more time with family on the east coast. I am quiet, clean, and responsible. I have a small dog who is non-shedding, slow-paced, and quiet. She does not lick, bite, or jump on people, but does love ear scratches and lap time, so a dog-friendly apartment-mate would be ideal. As for my needs - a room to call my own in the city, clean common spaces, and not too noisy environment.
