New to NYC & Looking for a Private Room

Hi everyone, I’m Sachin!

I’m searching for a private room (ideally with a private bathroom) in any neighborhood within a 30-45 minute commute to Midtown Manhattan.

A little about me: I just landed in New York a couple days ago from Vancouver. In the past few years, I have lived in Vancouver and Toronto but I’m originally from India. My work has brought me to Canada and now the US. I’m very grateful for all the experiences I’ve had in my time in Canada and for the people I’ve met so far. I’m very curious and excited about what New York has in store for me!

I keep a pretty active schedule. During the week, I’ll be working from the office five days a week. In the evenings, you’ll usually find me playing tennis or at the gym. On weekends, I loved getting outdoors for hiking and camping in Vancouver, or just cooking and chilling at home. Since I'm new to the city, I'm really looking forward to exploring NYC this summer and finding new weekend activities!

I’ve lived with roommates for the past five years, I’m clean and very mindful of shared spaces. I’m always down for a casual chat or a coffee, and enjoy cooking with others if the occasion arises. I’m open-minded, flexible, and look for newer perspectives to help me navigate my life.
