28F | Columbia Researcher Seeking Room 10/26–09/27

Hi everyone!

I’m Theresa, 28, originally from Germany, and I’ll be moving to New York in October for a one-year research stay at the Columbia University Medical Center. I’m looking for a room, ideally in a shared apartment, through the end of September 2027.

I currently live in Freiburg in the south of Germany, where I’m studying Medicine after completing a PhD in Chemistry, and I also work in Radiology at the University Medical Center. My stay in New York is fully funded through a university scholarship, so I have a secure income and can guarantee reliable rent payments.

As a roommate, I’m easygoing, tidy, and respectful of everyone’s space. I have several years of experience living in shared apartments and really enjoy the sense of community that comes with it. I’m always happy to share a meal or chat over coffee, while also appreciating a calm and relaxed home environment. I’m a non-smoker and generally have a pretty quiet lifestyle. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, practicing yoga, and spending time outdoors.
