ROOM, STUDIO, ADU, OR BACK HOUSE WANTED – QUIET COUPLE

My husband and I are a quiet, respectful couple in our early 30s looking for a room, studio, ADU, guest house, back house, or other affordable rental. We are hoping to move as soon as possible after discovering black mold in our previous rental and are currently staying with a friend while we search for a safe, stable place to live.

About Us:

• Married couple in our early 30s
• Clean, quiet, respectful, and keep to ourselves
• No drugs, no smoking, no drinking, no partying
• No frequent guests or drama
• I am currently 3 months pregnant
• We have 2 well-behaved outdoor cats with Emotional Support Animal documentation
• No vehicle at this time; we use electric bikes, so parking is not necessary

Employment & Income:

• Husband works full-time in security, including on-call and occasional overnight shifts
• Also performs welding, landscaping, and sprinkler work seasonally for additional income
• We currently receive CalWORKs/Cash Aid assistance
• Stable monthly income with additional earnings from side work
• I am actively rebuilding my credit

What We're Looking For:

• Private room, studio, ADU, back house, guest house, or similar space
• Budget: $850–$1,200 per month
• Month-to-month preferred
• Looking for approximately 6 months to 1 year while waiting for our housing assistance voucher to come through
• Private entrance and private bathroom preferred, but we are open to shared spaces for the right fit

We have funds available upfront, can move quickly, and are happy to provide proof of income, identification, references, and ESA documentation upon request.

We are simply looking for a peaceful, safe place to call home while preparing for our growing family.
