Warm, fun, responsible human and a mini poodle

Hi. 11 year old Fanny (mini poodle) and I are looking for our new home and housemates. I have lived in collective housing my whole adult life (until Covid), because I enjoy community. Fanny loves people, but is more particular about dogs and cats. I am an artist and recently retired nurse midwife. A new door has opened in my life, so I'm taking the leap and moving from Berkeley to Monterey to fulfill a long held dream. Life here will be busy for me; I'm not someone who sits around much. I'm queer, a mother of two fabulous young adults, culturally Jewish, mature, mentally healthy, physically fit, quiet but social, and have good communication skills. I love to garden. I'd prefer a quirky, natural environment over a ritzy one, and Fanny needs at least a small, enclosed outdoor space. Thanks for reading and considering!
