Room wanted in Jersey City

I'm a Software Engineer at Google.

I am relocating to Google NYC and looking for housing starting around June/July.
Open to:
A private room in a shared apartment (2-3 bedroom apartment)
A 1-bedroom or studio apartment
Signing a new lease with potential roommates
Budget: $1,200-$2,000/month (ideally $1,500-$1,800)
Looking for a clean, safe, and well-connected neighborhood
Will be commuting regularly to the Google office at 111 8th Ave, so proximity to public transit is important. Preferably within walking distance of a PATH or subway station
Preferred areas:
Grove Street
Exchange Place
Newport
Journal Square
Downtown Jersey City
Hoboken
Also open to other neighborhoods with a reasonable commute (ideally under 45 minutes) to Chelsea
