Friendly Professional Relocating to NYC!

Hi,

I’m a friendly, laid-back professional looking for a room or roommate situation in NYC.

A little about me: I’m relatively tidy, respectful of shared spaces, easy to get along with, and reliable when it comes to paying rent and communicating. I’m social and enjoy chatting, joking around, and getting to know the people I live with, but I’m also perfectly happy doing my own thing and giving everyone their space. I’m looking for a comfortable, low-drama living environment where everyone is considerate and easygoing.

In my free time I enjoy sports, music, video games, cooking, trying new restaurants, and generally exploring the city. I’d be happy to occasionally hang out with roommates, grab food, watch a movie, play some video games, or just relax at home, but there’s absolutely no expectation for that. You do you!

I’m currently pursuing opportunities in insurance sales and will be working a serving job (or similar role) in the meantime. My budget is around $1,250/month before utilities, with a little flexibility for the right fit. I’m ideally looking for something for at least the next 2–3 months, possibly a little longer.

A few preferences:

- Looking for male roommates
- Air conditioning is a must (obviously)
- Non-smoking strongly preferred
- 420 friendly as long as the smell is minimal
- Strong preference for no cats
