I am not looking for a place to live, since I already have a great apartment on the Upper West Side, which I share with my wife and teenage daughter. I am looking for a quiet, well-lit room where I can do my (non-messy) artwork making dioramas and collages and printing and editing my photographs. I would like 24/7 access however. I would sleep there very rarely. I am clean, reliable, respectful, quiet and easy to get along with. I am available to bring my supplies quite soon if necessary, but I will be abroad for most of the summer, so I would prefer to start around Labor Day. I am also looking for a situation where in (at least partial) exchange for rent, I can help out an older person for some errands, to make tea and occasion visits to the doctor, light food shopping etc. (I myself am a 70 year old native New Yorker.) Nothing to far afield, please.
