Buddy Up for Brooklyn Apartment :)

Hello!

My name's Mike, I've lived the past few years in Australia and New Zealand and I'm moving to New York in August. I would like to find someone who wants to buddy up to find an apartment, my favorite living situations have always been with one other person. I'd like to be in a place by the 1st of September but if it happens sooner or later no worries :)

A bit about me: I plan on getting a restaurant/bar job when I first move, but am intending on starting studying next year (need that in state tuition lol). I like to be out of the house but when I'm there I'm usually just relaxing with a guitar or watching a movie or reading. I play with headphones on when I'm plugged in, but I usually just play my acoustic quietly.

I like having roommates with slightly opposite schedules so we both have our times alone in the house. Love having chats with roommates and even doing stuff together if we get that close :) I'm fairly clean and am down to either do scheduled cleaning or just letting each other clean as we go, I've had success with both styles in past houses. Also open to any pets you may have!
