Looking for NYC room Sept 1

hi!! my name is madison but you can call me maddie! im looking to move to nyc september 1st-october 1st! im from san diego and have a bachelors of science marine biology degree from sdsu. i graduated in 2022, and am turning 26 in june :) i love trinkets, thrifting, cafe culture, and live music!! i have been living with roommates since 2024 so i understand roommate dynamics and how to be a responsible and respectful roomie 🙂‍↕️

i just accepted a job offer that requires me to have a nyc address within the 5 boroughs after 90 days of starting work. im looking to hopefully be somewhere in brooklyn, but am open to more possibilities as long as there’s a train station close as my new job will require field work and a lot of local travel around nyc.

i do have a cat, she is very sweet with people but ideally needs to be the only cat in the house as she gets a little spicy with other cats. she has an automatic litter box so no litter box smell, and an automatic feeder so she won’t bother anyone at meal times!

my budget is $1200 with utilities included, but i am open to up to $1500 if necessary. i would love in unit laundry but am absolutely flexible about this! i dont mind a shared bathroom, as i have been sharing one with 2 other roommates for the past 2 years. ideally id love to move in with other 2-3 other women but am open to options!
