Making a new life in my hometown

I'm a 59 year old single fella, pretty young at heart. I'm easy going, artsy, emotionally intelligent and funny in the wry, dry way. I'm a photographer/artist/writer/actor for passion but a sommelier/bartender for bread, though I'm at the stage where I'm looking to make a career transition.

Kind of full circle return for me. I was born in the northern suburbs but moved when I was an infant to the Bay Area, and have lived on every coast since then, in addition to traveling everywhere. Most recently, 18 years in New Orleans.

Looking for a temporary situation in a furnished room, until I get on my feet. (Though I'm open to finding something more long term if the chemistry and situation is right.) Open-minded about the who and what in this equation — open to any race, gender, age, sexual orientation, etc and am an old friend to alternative lifestyles. Probably someone who shares some semblance of culture and worldview would be ideal though.
