Our current rental turned out to be a scam, this house being rented out by squatters to squatters. The volatile "house manager" slid an invalid 15-Day Notice under my door today for what I assume is because of a small tiff earlier regarding turning the electricity back on (that is only off because our rent and utilities money that we pay him has apparently never actually gone towards the electricity and now there's a huge bill). The power was shut off yesterday, all of our food is rotting and/or melting, and I don't want to live where our place of residence is at risk and made to feel threatened. My family needs a stable, secure place to live by Sept 4th.

Who: Myself, my partner, and two young kids. No hard drugs and all soft hearts.

What we need: A bedroom (at least approx. 10x12) in a safe environment, and open kitchen access.

Budget: $800/month (open to paying more depending on accommodations)

Timeline: Move-in between September 1st.-September 4th
