My partner and I are in need of desperate help

Hello, I’m reaching out because my partner Jess and I are both sober and looking for a safe, stable room to rent. We want to be clear that we are not a rehab romance. We met during addiction, went through a difficult period, and made the decision to get clean together. We’ve now been together almost a year, with the second half of our relationship spent fully committed to sobriety and rebuilding our lives.

I currently work PRN at Recovery Unplugged and am on track for permanent hire based on consistency and performance. Jess is in IOP and daily meetings, and I attend evening meetings and have my own IOP schedule as well. Recovery is our priority, and we maintain structure, accountability, and routine.

We are clean, respectful, and responsible tenants who take pride in keeping our space organized and well‑maintained. We are in a challenging housing situation at the moment and are trying to secure a room so we can continue our progress and avoid instability.

We can pay rent reliably and are committed to contributing to a peaceful, sober household. If you have a room available or know of one, we would appreciate the opportunity to be considered.
