Seeking housing: LGBTQ+ friendly, cat-free

Hi! My name is Sara (they/them pronouns), and I'm 28 years old. I work remotely full-time in the advertising industry and I'm seeking a room in Brooklyn or mid-lower Manhattan for a fall move-in (actual month/days flexible). LGBTQ+ roommates OR LGBTQ+ allies preferred.

ABOUT ME
- Music lover: I'm teaching myself guitar, and I love going to shows and concerts
- Artist: I dabble in illustration, writing, and more. Hoping to get far more involved in local art scenes when I move
- Nerd: into anime, shows, movies, fandom culture... recommend something for me to watch!

I'm very allergic to cats, so I'd do best in a household that has literally any other animals or no pets. I find mess and clutter overwhelming (and fear bugs), so I make a vested effort to keep things clean.

I'm primarily looking for roommates that share a similar level of cleanliness, eg. proactively keeping communal spaces clean, not leaving messes out for days/not leaving things out that would attract pests, etc.

Likewise, I'm also looking for roommates that are mindful of communicable illnesses like colds/the flu/COVID, and make a reasonable effort to not get others sick: covering mouths when coughing or sneezing, washing hands, and taking care to not spread germs in the home.

We don't have to be besties, but I would like to live with someone who is friendly and collaborative: if there's a problem, let's be solutions-oriented and solve it. There's enough happening in life, let's work together to make our home fuss-free!
