Hi there,

I’m Tom, 41, an incoming Columbia GS premedical student, and I’m very interested in your listing.

I’m looking to join a quiet, respectful household for up to two years, ideally with a move-in around May 20 or shortly thereafter. I do not already have a place, so I’m specifically hoping to join an existing apartment rather than start a new lease on my own.

A few practical points about me: I’m a non-smoker, wake up around 5:00 a. m., keep a calm routine, and am fairly tidy without being obsessive. I’m very considerate in shared spaces, happy to contribute to keeping common areas clean, and I rarely have guests over. I’m not looking for a party house, though the occasional gathering is of course fine. Overall, I’d be happiest living with quiet, respectful people.

I’ve lived and worked internationally for many years and am very comfortable in diverse homes and with people from all kinds of backgrounds. I value a peaceful atmosphere, clear communication, and being an easy person to live with.
