Stem Cell Architect looking for roots

I'm David, a medical writer relocating to put down roots. I'm looking for a 6-12 month base, with flexibility to extend to 12-24 in the right place. I work remotely with steady consulting income, travel occasionally for work, and I'm a solo, non-smoking, no-pet tenant who keeps the space clean and the noise low.
I spent a decade as a healthcare facility architect before moving into writing, which means I notice and respect good buildings.
Off the clock, I'm hiking, walking the city, or tracking down good food. Move-in date of 5/12 is ideal but flexible.
