This Old Man, He Needs a Home, Doesnt Have a Bone

Non-conforming male, 75, needs a room or other housing for less than $800 per month, by November 1st. He's old but pretty harmless. I can vouch for him. He's me.
I'm a retired writer/artist/crafter. I'm quiet, somewhat introverted, with a prominent sense of humor. Most of my time is spent either designing and creating things, or chasing rabbits on the web. I'm tolerant of differences, and try to cooperate -- to reach a balance.
As a housemate, I'm considerate and don't leave messes in common areas. I'm neither a Felix Unger nor an Oscar Madison. I'm experienced with home repairs, and organic gardening. I am open to a certain amount of non-strenuous work in exchange for rent. (Pet care?)
I love nature, plants, animals, fungi, clouds in the sky, pareidolia, stars, and more. I don't currently have pets, but I love being around them. Cats, dogs, rats, guinea pigs, fish, snakes, but please, no komodo dragons.
My world view is far to the left, and most compatible with people on that side of the center. I don't use alcohol, but moderate use by others isn't a problem.

Are you kind?

I prefer an environment that isn't consistently loud, e. g. music playing ALL the time, chainsaw use in the dining room, etc.). Someone tolerant and accepting of other ethnicities, races, genders and LGBTQIA+. (that is, people who choose love over hate.) Creative people would be nice, but not required. No smoke of any kind inside (respiratory issues).
