☀️ Quiet PhD Researcher looking for a furnished room near UC Berkeley
Hi everyone!
I am a French PhD student currently living in Canada, and I’m moving to Berkeley for a 6-month research stay at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (working at Koshland Hall).
My stay is planned from May 16th to November 2nd, 2026.
A bit about me: I’m a serious and respectful researcher (J-1 Visa scholar). My days are usually spent in the lab, so I’m looking for a peaceful and tidy home to return to. I’m quite independent and value my solitude, but I also enjoy a friendly chat over coffee or a meal from time to time. I’m a non-smoker and very clean. I am speaking French and English.
What I’m looking for: A private single bedroom (furnished).
Location: Ideally in Northside, Southside, Albany, or near the UC Berkeley campus for an easy commute.
Budget: Around $1,200–$1,400 (flexible for the right spot).
Utilities: Wi-Fi is essential for my work!
I’ve already secured my official letter of invitation and my visa. I would love to chat to see if we’d be a good fit!
Looking forward to meeting my future roommates. 😃 Thank you for reading me, Alice ☀️
