Looking for short term room rental! (with my cat)

I'm a 37 year old male landscape architect moving to NYC from Denver, CO. My target date is May 14. I need a place to get settled in the city on a preferably weekly basis (or monthly if necessary) while I continue to find something long term. I'm very clean and respectful, can either keep to myself, or socialize depending on the preference of the roommates. I can also accommodate any noise level preferences you all have. I will be spending most of my time applying to jobs either on the computer or traveling around the city. Of course, I will also be exploring! I would love to utilize the kitchen to cook most of my meals to save money, but would certainly clean up after myself. I have a very friendly cat named Django, who is calm, occasionally talkative (meow!) and litter box trained.
