Easygoing, clean, early-to-bed professional (50F)

Hi! I’m a 50-year-old strength coach and founder of MenoPower, looking for a comfortable, respectful place in Manhattan, Long Island City/Astoria, or northwest Brooklyn—ideally something that feels like a real home, not just a landing spot.

I’m pretty low-key, clean, and easy to live with. I like a tidy, calm space and I’m very mindful of shared areas. I’m friendly and warm, but also independent—I enjoy a good chat, but I’m not looking for a super social/party household.

I keep an early schedule and am usually in bed before 10pm, so I’m best suited to a quieter home. I also love to cook and am happy to share occasionally (especially if someone else wants to claim dish duty 😄).

I have a 29lb dog (5yo so no puppy energy) who is very sweet, quiet, and a little shy at first. She’s well-behaved and not destructive, and I’m very conscientious about keeping things clean and comfortable for everyone.

I recently started my own business, so I’m being intentional about keeping my living situation simple and putting more resources into growing that (also… NYC rent increases are no joke). That said, I have impeccable credit, great references, and a solid rental history.

Looking in Manhattan, LIC, or NW Brooklyn with a budget of $1800-2400, starting sometime between June 15-30.
