33 year old woman looking for room in Centennial

Howdy!

I’m looking for a room to rent starting between 5/23–5/30. My current lease ends 5/31, and I’m moving on my own as my roommate’s needs are changing, so I’m exploring new housing options now.

What I’m looking for:

A clean, respectful living environment

I generally prefer living with just one other roommate, but I’m also open to two roommates or a couple if it’s a good fit

A private bedroom and private bathroom

A garage parking spot with access to storage areas (preferred), or at minimum access to garage storage for personal items. Street or alternative parking is also fine as long as it is close to the property, though garage parking is highly preferred.

I have my own storage racks, so anything I store would be organized from the start without creating clutter in shared storage areas

No more than a 15-minute commute to the Broncos Training Facility area (my main office is nearby), with easy access to I-25 or S Parker Rd (CO-83). I currently live near I-25 and Arapahoe and would prefer to stay close, but I’m also open to Lone Tree, Parker, the greater Centennial area, or Castle Pines

Budget: $900–$1,200 depending on whether utilities are included (preferred), garage/storage availability, size of space, etc.

A 4+ month lease, ideally a 12-month lease if it’s a good fit

I’m looking for my own lease (not subletting or taking over someone else’s lease, and not being tied into a joint lease with another tenant)

Pets:
I don’t have any pets of my own, but I’m comfortable living with them and generally love animals. I especially have good cat vibes and tend to get along with them well. I also like dogs, though I do have mild allergies to dander and saliva, so I’m best suited to dogs that aren’t overly high-energy or constantly in close contact.

A bit about me as a tenant:

I pay rent on time (usually early), have strong credit, and can pass a background check.

I’m a social introvert—friendly, easy to get along with, but also comfortable with quiet time.

I’m a bit of a homebody and enjoy common areas, while also being respectful of others’ space.

I’m very clean and value a clean home. I can be a little cluttered at times, but it stays contained to my room—never dirty. I’ve had great experiences doing occasional clean-up sessions together with roommates to keep shared spaces in good shape.

I work early (typically up around 5am, start by 7), so I’m quiet in the mornings and keep things low-key in the evenings. I’m not overly sensitive to noise, just prefer a reasonable volume at night.

I work in the construction/building industry and am usually out of the house. I only work from home occasionally (sick days, after-hours work, or the rare daytime need).

I’m financially responsible and stable, so rent reliability won’t be an issue.

I’m generally flexible with household lifestyle preferences. I don’t smoke tobacco and would prefer a home without tobacco smell. I’m also okay with occasional use in the home as long as it isn’t constant. I occasionally partake as well, but I can also live without it if it’s not part of the household.

A bit about me as a person:

I enjoy live music, reading, and board games (both in person and online).

Between binge-watching interior design content, working for a building supplies company, and seeing the price of cheaply made furniture these days, I’ve developed a strong interest in learning carpentry as a hobby. Once I settle into a new home, I plan to take some classes and find a nearby coworking or makerspace to get started with woodworking.
