Queer artist looking for a room - very sweet cat i

I’m a 33 year old gay guy, artist with a background in photography, and someone who’s very considerate and mindful of the people around me. Born and raised in Indiana, I moved here with my, then, partner about 3 years ago, but we’ve recently split, so I’m currently resetting and finding a new place to land.
I just started working about a month ago as a front of house assistant at a private social club in the Flatiron district. Because of that, my income docs are still catching up, but I do have upfront costs ready (deposit/first month/prepay if needed) and can provide references.
I’m pretty easygoing, clean, and respectful of shared space — more on the quieter side at home, but I enjoy getting to know the people I live with. I also really enjoy cooking and some baking, and I try to meal prep most weeks. I especially like cooking for other people, so shared meals or even a casual meal swap would be a fun bonus if there's interest.
I have a very affectionate cat named Moolissa. She’s mellow, well behaved, and doesn’t scratch or cause any issues (just wants pets and naps).
Would love to live with queer folks or LGBTQ-friendly roommates, but open to anyone who values a chill, respectful home.
