Hello! I am a respectful, active male in my 70s who recently moved to Henderson from North Carolina to be closer to my three beautiful grandchildren. I am currently looking to rent a room from a homeowner (over 60) who has a bit of extra space and wouldn't mind a friendly, reliable housemate. While I am open to renting from a male or female, I have always valued the platonic friendships I’ve built with women over the years and enjoy the different perspectives and good conversation that come with them. Ultimately, I am looking for a living situation where we are both comfortable, can socialize a bit, and perhaps even introduce each other to our respective friend groups here in the area! A little about me: • Active & Curious: I love the outdoors and have done my fair share of world travel. Interests include: drone photography, learning about and using AI (artificial intelligence), working on creative tech projects on my desktop PC., learning how to play pickleball. • Clean & Quiet: I am a non-smoker and have no pets. I am incredibly tidy—you will never wake up to a dirty kitchen on my watch! I also won't be bringing any guests over, and I completely respect your privacy when you have your own friends or family visiting. • The "Handyman" Bonus: I take pride in the spaces I live in. I have left every house I’ve ever owned in much better condition than when I bought it. If your home needs occasional maintenance, updating, or yardwork, I am very handy and more than happy to help you out. I can also help run the occasional errand for you if needed. What I am looking for: • A comfortable room in an owner occupied house with internet access, a private bathroom, a place to park my car, and access to a laundry room and yard. Prefer owner occupied house one other renter at the most. • A budget of $850 a month (supplemented by the built-in home maintenance, yardwork, and errand benefits I am happy to provide).
