I am 53-year old communications professional and have worked in financial services in Manhattan for the past decade+. I have a daily 4-hr round trip commute from CT that is really starting to get old. That commute just wastes too much time and life, so I’ve decided to try to find a roommate in the city. I am available to move as soon as possible and have a budget of $1800/month, (more or less depending on location, quality, private bedroom, etc.) I’ll likely only stay in the city 2-3 nights per week.

I would like to share with females ideally between 40 and 60 years old. When in the city I often go to plays, concerts, talk-backs, book signings, and the like. As a certified event planner, I also go to a lot of new venue openings and networking events - and I would go to more if I didn’t have such a long train ride home. I’d love a similarly adventurous soul, but it’s not required.

I have been married to a Swede I met in college for almost 30 years. I still wake up every day thinking he is amazing. We chose not to have kids. He races Porsches as a hobby. We have a SFH back before it became somewhat common. He may come into the city to stay with me once in a while, but his job is 10 mins from our house and he’s not a huge fan of the city, so he will rarely be around.

I work next door to Madison Square Park. I am reliable, quiet, clean and responsive. Looking for same.
