Hi, I'm Archer! I'm 23 and will be a professional working in transportation, looking to move into an apartment in mid-June 2026 on a budget of approximately $2200/month. I plan to stay in NYC for the foreseeable future, so I will likely be looking for a longer-term lease. I will be working in Midtown, so I would prefer a place in Manhattan, but I am open to looking at other apartments as well.
I'm pretty lax with most things, though I do have 1 non-negotiable requirement, and that's no smoking or drugs in the apartment. Aside from that, I don't have any issues with alcohol (though I don't really drink myself), frequent guests, etc.
I'm definitely more of the quiet type, but I'd love to be friends with whoever I rent with. I don't usually have guests around, but if I do have plans, I will usually ask plenty beforehand. While I don't clean super frequently, I do like to keep public spaces at least somewhat tidy so long as they aren't noticeably dirty.
My interests are honestly a bit all over the place. I'm definitely a big nerd, but I regularly keep up with sports (especially soccer, basketball, and baseball), and I like to explore as well, whether that is hiking, taking day trips, walking around the city, or just riding the subway for fun (okay, maybe I'm a little bit of a transit nerd).
