Reliable tenant looking for Glendora room

Hello, my name is Anthony, 45yo single male with no pets looking for a long-term tenancy if a long-term permanent tenancy is not available.

I have stable income (disability & food stamps) and am a strict minimalist. I've been on disability for 13 years now and living on a fixed income has taught me to be incredibly resourceful, and organized.

Budget: Up to $900/mo (utilities included) or $600–$800/mo (plus utilities). Move-in: May 1st and I am seeking a 1 year lease (12+ mo) but would settle for a 6 month lease.

If a showing before May 1st works out, I'd be willing to pay the security deposit upfront as a holding deposit to secure the room early.

For full transparency: I am on disability due to a TBI (traumatic brain injury) from infancy. This led to an honorable medical discharge from the Navy in ’99 while training with the Seabees (Naval Construction Force). It doesn’t affect my ability to maintain a home or be a great roommate, but I believe in being upfront about my background.

Rent is on time every time with me and I have references and rental receipts to support it. I have a passing background check less than 30 days old, a credit report on hand and proof of income upon request and my profile photo is recent and up to date.

My lifestyle in all transparency is generally a homebody during the week but I am usually away visiting friends or volunteering on the weekends and typically will be out of the house Friday and Saturday nights and sometimes gone even until Sunday night or Monday morning. My spare time at home is usually spent in preferred isolation whenever possible, but I am also social, outgoing and interactive, in other words; I prefer to keep to myself but am sociable and easy to talk to/get along with.

I am 420 friendly but don't smoke, quit cigarettes after 3 years of consistent effort and I do not drink or do drugs. I am bohemian in character; live and let live; Rick's in Casablanca type stuff, LGBTQ friendly and enjoy living with down to earth wholesome people.

A day at home with me would most typically look like me reading or studying up on theology, philosophy, metaphysics, physics, quantum physics (unofficially; I have no degrees, doctorates nor am I a physicist), making myself available for volunteer services, often working small part-time gigs and side jobs and playing video games online with friends in my down time.

I often clean house and maintain yards on a regular basis, both as a hobby and to keep myself active. It is therapeutic for me and is a way I can contribute to the collective household; keeping the house and grounds clean while working roommates get through their day. Living in a household to me is a community and survives on mutual respect and trust and im always willing to pull my weight and help out.

(A few things to note for compatibility): I do burn incense and candles, primarily during prayer and meditation times (but I can also burn these outside if you are sensitive to smells or are asthmatic or replace them with a different medium if it's altogether bothersome), Though I can be an early bird at times, I am a night owl by nature and also suffer from insomnia so sometimes I can be up through to the early morning hours, but am a very quiet tenant; listen to music, watch movies and play video games through bluetooth headphones after hours, and I am very mindful of house quiet hours and especially of roommates' work schedules.

I am aware that my lifestyle may be seen as eccentric, and don't expect my fit to be around every corner. But I am hoping with this level of openness and transparency I will save everyone a little time, avoid incompatible housing and eventually find me the right fit.
